We need your help.

Help at a workshop.

CORE offers at least two in person workshop per year. Our workshops take time and energy to set up, hold and tear down. Our facilitators often take on these responsibilities in addition to leading the training. Therefore, your help goes a long way! If you would like to assist us during a workshop, consider helping in one of the following ways:

  • Make a meal for workshop attendees.

  • Assist with set up of the workshop.

  • Lend a hand with technical and logistical support during the workshop.

  • Help with tear down at the end of a workshop.

Share your knowledge.

We are always looking for new anti-racism resources to deepen our journey and to share with all of you. If you come across a book, podcast, movie, or other resource that has helped you grow, consider writing up a review of the resource to send our way to share with others. We are also looking to develop a resource library in the near future. If you are passionate about learning and would like to compile numerous other resources to make available for others, contacts us about you can get involved.

Join us as a co-laborer.

CORE is a non-profit organization, a 501(c)3. Traditionally, this means there is a Board and staff with clear division of roles and a hierarchal structure. However, with our commitment to anti-racism, we are seeking to do things differently.

We are far from perfect and still have a lot of growing to do. And we have committed to coming together as a CORE Collective, as volunteer board members and contracted staff, to lead and make decisions together. As our structure continues to evolve, we need volunteers to come co-labor with us on this journey.

We need individuals who are committed to engaging in anti-racism work, which includes life-long learning, commitment to addressing one’s internalized racism, and strategizing with us in this work. This also requires humility to lean into co-creating a communal organization, while centering our faith and those most marginalized by racism and other forms of oppression. We are especially looking for individuals with any of the following skills:

  • Fundraising

  • Advertising and marketing

  • Administrative (organizational, records, etc.)

  • Strategic Planning

  • Recruiting and staff development

  • Community Outreach
